Porcelain Shells For Electrical Apparatus Electrical apparatus porcelain shells are used in outdoor high-voltage apparatus and distribution installation for insulating and supporting the high voltage outlets passing through the earthed bodies or as an insulating container of apparatus and distribution installation. They are used in an ambient temperature from -40℃ to the maximum temperature specified by relevant standard. Normal type, anti-pollutia type, plain type and plateau type are available for different applications. Plain type porcelain shells are suitable for operation at an altitude up to 1,000 metres, plateau type porcelain shells are suitable for operation at an altitude up to 3,500 metres. |
