Porcelain Shells For Electrical Apparatus

Electrical apparatus porcelain shells are used in outdoor high-voltage apparatus and distribution installation for insulating and supporting the high voltage outlets passing through the earthed bodies or as an insulating container of apparatus and distribution installation. They are used in an ambient temperature from -40℃ to the maximum temperature specified by relevant standard. Normal type, anti-pollutia type, plain type and plateau type are available for different applications. Plain type porcelain shells are suitable for operation at an altitude up to 1,000 metres, plateau type porcelain shells are suitable for operation at an altitude up to 3,500 metres.

	According to its application, electrical apparatus porcelain shells may be classified into three categories, i.e. for SF6 circuit-breakers, instrument transformers and capacitors. they are all used outdoors.
	The electrical apparatus porcelain shells correspond to GB 772"Technical Specifications of Porcelain element for high voltage insulators. "Nevertheless, orders in accordance with other specifications or standards of other countries are also accepted.
